R.I.P Squeak…

RIP little Squeak, we did everything we could, with the double whammy of Parvo and Tick Bite fever it reached the point this afternoon that it was cruel to keep her hanging on.

Am I upset? yes!

Is it because we lost her? No.

  • I’m upset she was born to a family who never wanted her, planned her, cared for her.
  • I’m upset because she shouldn’t have had two miserable months of life then died hooked up to a drip for a totally preventable disease.
  • I’m upset for the mommy dog we’ll never meet who’ll currently be making more Squeaks to meet the same end.

Squeak’s life should count for something, she was a Witzenberg dog, please support our sterilisation drive.

We currently have enough to cover 62 steri’s, we posted last Friday & were on a roll then our donation page crashed!

I feel sick thinking of the sterilisations that won’t be funded because of a stupid technical failure! ?

A sterilisation costs R450, if you can afford one great, if you can afford 30 great, if you can afford R100 great!

You don’t have to do everything please just do something!

BequestS - Remember us in Your Will

One of the most effective ways in which you can ensure that Sidewalk Specials NPC’s work continues is by way of a bequest in your will.

 

What Can You Bequeath?

You can leave any realisable assets to Sidewalk Specials NPC, including:

  • Property and land
  • Money or stocks and shares
  • Personal possessions
 
Adding a Bequest to Your Will
 
If you wish to donate to Sidewalk Specials NPC by way of a bequest, please make specific mention of us in your will.

For example:

“I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value]. “ 

If you have already drawn up your will, a bequest to Sidewalk Specials NPC can be contained in an addition to your will, known as a Codicil, which can be added at any time.

A codicil must be signed and witnessed in the same way as the will itself (although the witnesses do not need to be the same). It must be kept with the will, but not affixed to it.

For example:

“I, the undersigned, declare the following to be a codicil to my will. I bequeath to Sidewalk Specials NPC (2017/316326/08) the sum of [insert amount or percentage of overall estate value] “
